PIP/ Giveaway/ CLOSED/Vintage Lucy Vintage Style Kewpie Dog Onesie

You know me- I LOVE ETSY!!!! So on a recent stroll through their vintage section while looking for unique clothing items for my daughter I came across Vintage Lucys, who had the CUTEST vintage applique/iron shirts and clothing!

I was immediately struck by this cute shirt and knew it was gonna be a winner for when daughter goes into that pre-pre teen period! AND it comes in adult sizes too! Now I KNOW you are thinking of some adults who NEED this shirt, aren't you????? You are, admit it!  HA HA HA

Vintage Lucy's was started in 2002, by Tabatha Hasselbrink. She has some absolutely adorable designs for boys and girl, and her girls sets are just too cute for words!

Tabatha says: "I wanted to bring fresh retro designs with a funky twist to the childrens' clothing industry, as well as stay home with my 5 children. My designs are greatly influenced by my love for all things vintage and punk, and I have blended them together for a very unique and sweet line of items. Vintage Lucys is operated by me and my lovely husband Erik.

Whos Lucy you ask? 

Shes my inspiration and my great grandmother: Mrs. Lucille Erwin (who is no longer with us), but her memory lives on and inspires my designs.  All of the vintage table linens, hankies and retro prints remind me of being a little girl at her 1920's bungalow in Downey California, where Lucy helped raise me and my 2 brothers !" 

Maybe that's why I fell instantly in love with everything in the shop- that vintage California feel was there and really reminded me of the look I had going for the blog and I knew I had to contact Tabatha! She was very gracious and offered one of my readers one of her adorale Cute and Sassy onesies!
