In honor of my daughter's birthday this month, we're gonna share some Birthday love! As you know from reading this blog, my daughter has a semi-addiction to cookies and cupcakes (and who doesn't??LOL), so when I cam across the sweet little cookbook of treats, I knew we just HAD to give away a copy this month!

The cookbook has 48 recipes: 18 cookie and bar recipes, 7 miscellaneous desserts, and 24 cupcake recipes. ALL the recipes are simple and most contain less than 8 ingredients! PERFECT for a kids cookbook! Here's a partial list of recipes from the contents page:

And to tempt you to enter, here's a quick recipe from the book that fun and neat to make with kids!

Forgotten Cookies:

Ingredients:
2 egg whites                  2/3 cp sugar
1 cp pecans                  6 oz. chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

Instructions:
1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
2. Whip egg whites til frothy, gradually add sugar and continue to whip until very high stiff peaks form.
3. Fold in pecans, chips and vanilla. Grease a sheet of aluminum foil on a cookie sheet. Drop the cookie mixture onto the foil.
4. Place cookie sheet in preheated oven, close door and TURN OFF the oven!
5. Leave overnight.
6. In the morning, gently separate each cookie from foil and ENJOY and watch your kids' amazement!
