Book Review/Giveaway: God and Dog by Wendy Francisco

As you all know, we've started a new topic on this blog with the arrival of our new puppy, Marley, called The Dog House! Today's book review and giveaway is a double hitter as it is part of the Welcome to Fall Ya'll bonanza AND The Dog House!

Synopsis: GOD AND DOG is a phenomenon. First appearing on YouTube, the video of Wendy Francisco's charming animated illustrations and moving song tells of the unconditional love of both God and Dog.
With over 2 million YouTube viewings to date, Francisco's story appeals to all ages, to animal enthusiasts, to people of religious persuasions, and especially to anyone who has been loved by a dog.

Now in book format, Wendy's touching narrative will be expanded on through additional lyrics, illustrations, photographs and some of the powerful mail that is continually being sent to Francisco.

About the Author:  Wendy was born in 1955 in Boston, grew up in Southern California, and graduated from San Diego State University with degrees in art and creative writing.  Wendy sings, writes, plays guitar, and paints. She's illustrated books, recorded CDs, and traveled the world doing concerts.  You may remember her singing the title song to the NBC sitcom "Dear John".

In 2009, Wendy's first animated video, GoD and DoG, was posted on You Tube and received a million views in the first 40 days. Wendy resides with her husband, singer/songwriter Don Francisco, in the mountains of Colorado. Follow her on her God and Dog website!

Review: This is an adorable little book!The author relates a dogs actions with God's love for us in a very simple way, that even young children can relate to! If you have a dog lover in your family, get them this book- they'll thank you for it! I and SO pleased to me able to offer some giveaway copies- it's perfect for Christmas presents, especially if you have a new dog!
