This is our second foray across the pond today! With this book we're off to London, England!

Synopsis: For five years, Sally and Clive have been lost in a passionate affair. Now he has dumped her to devote himself to his wife and family, and Sally is left in freefall. 


It starts with a casual stroll past his house, and popping into the brasserie where his son works. Then Sally starts following Clive's wife and daughter on Facebook. But that's alright, isn't it? These are perfectly normal things to do. Aren't they?

Review: If you know me, then you know I truly SHOULD have a sarcasm font on my computer, so it shouldn't be a surprise that I laughed my way through this book! Sally is probably the most honest and forthright character I've read in a long time! We've all known women (or maybe were that woman) who looses touch a bit with normalcy and perspective, and act completely out of character after a bad break up. Ok, so Sally DOES take it pretty far, but in a weird way, we can relate and understand it.


I was not expecting the "WOW" ending- always the sign of a good author, who can surprise you at the end- and I'm not going to spill the beans here either!  The finale is definitely unexpected and makes you go "WOW"!  This is definitely an interesting 'by the pool' Summer read!
