Review: WOW, I had never read any of Diann's books, but I'm ready to go off and read the rest of them! AND a I am quite happy that this will become a series of books, as the characters are very likable and as a reader, I want to know what comes next for them all! Diann does a great job of making the characters very likable and engaging, as well as adding a sub-story that crosses over into the primary search for a child's killer.You will be very engrossed in the story, almost from the beginning!
Diann also does a wonderful job of walking the line between a secular fiction and Christian fiction book- she incorporates Christianity into the book in a very real-life way, that not only makes sense, but is very appropriate to the situations the characters are going through. This genre is fast exploding, and I know that DiAnn will be at the forefront with books from this series, if she keeps to the same level of writing!
I greatly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it for a change of pace, for book clubs and for church groups, especially women's groups, as there is much that can be discussed from it, that focuses on real life situations (discussion questions on Diann's website). Which is why I want to share the book with a lucky BTHM reader!
