Dawn, over at Mom-a-Logues came up with a great idea a couple of years ago of tweaking the old penpal routine and sending likenesses, aka paper dolls, of her kids, Alexa and Lillian, around the country/world, to different bloggers, and letting them 'share' in the experiences of their 'host' families!
We signed on this year, and Alexa and Lillian FINALLY got to come to our house, after spending some time in Maryland (with In The Loop)!
Being proper, and Southern, we had a tea party ready and waiting for them! (and yes, we DO use the good crystal for tea parties! Why not?)
That would be fleur de lis, aka SAINTS (don't ask, we are NOT talking about that whole bountygate fiasco of a mess) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, carrots and dressing, goldfish and cranberries (yes our kids are weird, they prefer cranberries to raisins). The "tea" was fruit punch, since the partiers made an "ewww tea face", when the subject was broached!

While we don't have a super exciting week planned, we hope they'll have fun with
cheerleading camp, VBS, meeting all of Kiddo's cousins, doing some fishing and playing with Kiddo and friends!
