Review: One of the greatest adventure stories I have ever read, and it is just the first of a trilogy. I can hardly wait until I get my hands of the second and third books. This book had me from page one. Being a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer it brought back many very good and exciting adventures of my own.
The author obviously spent very much time on research. David Stevens is a Navy fighter pilot and used his knowledge of the military system to create this story. While he used terms that many people don’t understand, he would then explain just what they meant by the terms The characters he brought to life in this book made the book even more exciting. The main character is a Navy Fighter pilot (what a shock, LOL!).
After a complete failure of all systems on his F-18 he is forced to exit the aircraft near a small community, and waits until he is clear of all homes to eject. He is hurt badly near death, but somehow people he never saw, get him back to life, but in a very strange way.
He then begins his new life, but no one from his past will know him. He is tasked to help save the world by getting a scientific team togethe,r under everyone’s radar, to deflect a COMET. Learn how he does this and meet his new team, as they work on this project. CIA, Navy, and many other agencies have their best and brightest work on this project.
Once you begin this book, be prepared to get hooked (seriously I finished book in a couple of readings!). I urge all that enjoy great adventure novels to read this book and you will see what I mean. Course you will have to wait for books 2 and 3 to finish the tale, as this is the first book of the triology! Good reading to all!

Navy fighter pilot with hundreds of aircraft carrier landings,
Commander David E Stevens holds degrees from Cornell and the University
of Michigan with graduate work in astrophysics. He test piloted new
fighters and received an aviation patent. With a Top Secret clearance,
Dave served as Strike Operations Officer for the Persian Gulf during
Desert Storm and led classified defense programs. He's traveled to over
two dozen countries.
