Welcome to the 7th week of A.C.T.S.!
To refresh your memory, Adventures in Odyssey is calling kids this Summer, to serve their families, their communities, and their world, via their program A.C.T.S.!—A Call To Serve. Your kids can join thousands of kids across the country making a commitment to serve your family, your community and even the world!
Be sure to have your kids check out the new video for the A.C.T.S theme song, Live It Out Loud, on the A.C.T.S. website- it even has the lyrics for them to sing along with!?
Remember:" anything you do that puts someone before yourself is considered serving!
Simple service acts include:
.- reading to your siblings
- helping with chores around the house (without being asked to)
- picking up a siblings clothes and putting them away/in the laundry
-helping Mom to put groceries away
- helping with the laundry
- helping Dad with the yard work, without being asked
-watching younger siblings, so parents can do something else
-even taking out the garbage can be an act of service to another family member!

Miss Grace's service chart is filling up!
She has been great about service this Summer and we plan to reward her at the end of Summer
with a new pet. She has shown she can be thoughtful and considerate of others, and it is a goal she wants.
How is your kid's chart looking?
