Review:

WOW- who knew, the bounty of breakfast items available, with not that many extra ingredients, for a Gluten-free diet? I was amazed and delighted with this cookbook! All the recipes are amazing, and the forward section spells out how to make your own flours if you need to (!!) and the substitutions you need to make! I found myself wanting to make ALL the recipes!

Instead I found last Sunday that just called to me to make it for church (we have a snack afterwards as a time of sharing and catching up with each other)- Herb Cheese Muffins. But as I didn't have any Gluten-free flour available, I switched it to regular (following the reverse guidelines that Linda gave in the front section of the book). How did they turn out?

Hungry yet? I served them on a platter with both types of grapes and 2 types of cheese, and they were a savory HIT! Everybody loved them, even Miss Grace!

Here's the recipe:

Those air pockets were where the lure of the spices came out and attracted you like a bee to honey! Warmed with a little butter? Heaven in a cupcake liner!

SO what that means is that you can use this cookbook both ways- Gluten-free and regular- perfect for the family that has a child (or adult) that needs Gluten-Free, but want to bake something 'regular' for bake sale, potluck or family gathering!

We're going to be making our way through this cookbook, it is filled with so MANY yummy scrumptious breakfast foods!

I know you'll love it too! So head on over and check it out, and put in on your Christmas gift giving list (108 days and counting-aaaagghhhh we're almost at 100-that means just over 3 months people! Scream with me!)
