Smurf-O-Vision 2 App Gives You Smurfy FUN!

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE). Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Clumsy Smurf are back with the video release of their latest movie, The Smurfs 2! And to help make the new video come alive for fans of all ages, SPHE introduces a new Smurf-O-Vision 2 app!  

The app, is FREE to download from the iTunes App Store for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch (sorry, no Android yet!). It has actually been updated, as it was originally released in the fall of 2011, with the premier of the first The Smurfs movie,  and has been downloaded more than 800,000 times! 

The updated app features two new ‘Smurf-a-rific’ features, Magic Movie Maker and Smurfy Seek and Find. 

The feature that is the most fun for the entire family is the Smurfy Seek and Find feature, that you  play WHILE watching the DVD video! It syncs up to the movie's key scenes, and engages the viewer with the game. It challenges fans to find hidden Smurfs and objects within each scene on the television. When the hidden Smurf is found, you just click on the matching Smurf bubble, and waa-la. As each level is completed, the game unlocks new characters, backgrounds, sound effects, magic spells and more, which can be collected to make the Smurf-iest of movies possible with the Magic Movie Maker.

Miss Grace loves this feature of the app! Being able to make your OWN Smurf movie and save it? Cool indeed! Magic Movie Maker challenges fans to create their own, customized mini-movies, starring their favorite Smurf characters and backdrops, along with the option to include personal dialogue or narration, and final touches, such as music, sound effects and magic spells. Mini-movies can then be saved to the user’s device, and then shared with family and friends. I can just SEE the movies coming, can't you?
