Review:

Being Level 2, the book was a great read for Miss Grace- she was captivated by all the animals, and was able to read most of the words, with help on harder/longer words. I loved how God was incorporated into a scientific book, in a manner that was 'normal' and not preachy!

The timing was great, as Miss Grace went to see Rio2 with Papa the same week we receive the book! So she was quite eager to get through Rainforest Pals and to check out more info on the animals from the cartoon! With Prince William's visit to New Zealand and Australia also in the news, it was very helpful to pull up the Curious Creatures Down Under book and find animals that were being talked about as well! Miss Grace wants to be a scientist when she grows up, so she eagerly went through the other 2 books as well!

This is a great compiled book that younger kids in the preschool- 3rd grade age group (ages 4-8) will love- all kids that age love hearing about exotic and wild animals! This would be a great book to add to your Summer reading curriculum, and it would be great to read before or after a trip to the zoo!
