Earlier this week I shared with you some wonderful new books from Disney,
focusing on their recent release, Frozen.

Today I have a couple more books from the series, that are also perfect for adding to your child's Easter basket, and mercifully will not subject you to hearing 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman' or 'Let It Go', from the speakers of the minivan! Course your child MAY provide the songs as they read along! LOL

First off for older readers:

A

In this book, readers 6-8, can explore a wintery world of magic in Walt Disney Animation Studio’s latest film, Frozen. This jacketed picture book features an original story about Anna and Elsa, the film’s two sisters, as well as illustrations by one of the artists who worked on the film. The eBook version has word-for-word narration, as well!
This book takes the idea of what happened after Elsa hit Anna the first time,
and they were separated, yet living in the same house.

I don't know about you, but I love the young Anna! She is equally as charming in this book!

The book then picks up with the movie's storyline, and goes past it, with the sisters bonded together and happy with their differences! A great storyline to talk to siblings about! Miss Grace greatly enjoyed this book!

The second book is aimed at younger kids 3-5, but I would say it really is more like 3-8,
as it can help early readers, by first reading along, and then reading the book by themselves!

In this book, fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey-teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven-to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Based on the Disney film, Frozen, this exciting storybook-and-CD set features thrilling sound effects, word-for-word narration, and original movie voices!
Miss Grace loved hearing the voices from the film and the sound effects (she supplied the songs, le siiiiggghhhhh- we're on day 22 of daily watching, I think I can tell you the entire movie script by hear
t!). I had to smile seeing her so enrapt with putting the cd in and following along! I still have some of the original Disney read alongs with 45 records from my childhood! I was thrilled to see they are continuing the tradition! I used to sit for hours reading and listening to my books, and I'm glad this tradition can continue. The listening really helps early readers to read along and understand phonetics of words they might not know. Anything that helps your child ENJOY reading is a great asset to me!
So if you're looking for some great Frozen items for the Easter basket, check out these great options from Disney!
And because I love you- I have to leave you with a sing-along.....
(sorry, not...LOL)......
You have to admit, hearing 5-8 year olds belting Broadway worthy tunes, from this movie, like the one above,  with all the drama of an opera singer, means that Disney truly understood their inner drama queens!
