Remember the days when you didn't have to worry about the content of TV shows your kids watched?

Where you didn;t have to have family discussions after the show was over, about the topics presented and your family rules about them?

Sigh....

Call it what you will, that type of peace of mind is very hard to get these days.

Which is why I am so thrilled to share a new series coming your way from the Hallmark Channel, that is perfect for everyone in your family to watch!

Meet:
Signed, Sealed, Delivered

signed sealed delivered pix

This new original series from the producer of Touched By An Angel, Martha Williamson, is a wonderful combination of romance, comedy and drama that follows the lives of four postal detectives who transform themselves into a team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office and into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow always on time. The team includes charming Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius), a genius postal detective and the group’s leader; new team member, Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), a technophile who brings 21st century sensibility to the group; free-spirited, “girl next door” Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) who has a photographic memory; and lovable Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson), a master in conventional research methods.

The show will air on SUNDAYS, 8/7c on the Hallmark Channel.

Review:

I was able to preview the opening episode and I have to tell you it is a WONDERFUL show! All of the 4 main characters are likable, and will remind you of friends and family members. In fact the actors have all been on many different TV shows (Melrose Place, House, Ugly Betty, to name a few), so you will be very familiar with them! They all have their own little quirks, but together as a team they are amazing! I've always wondered about the people who sorta out the lost mail and find its' owners, and this show offers a glimpse of what that entails! I imagine, that is a WHOLE lot easier nowadays with modern technology and online databases! I loved seeing Marilu Henner in the show- she was such a wonderful part of my earlier TV watching! The episode was absolute delight, and I've already put the series on the Tivo, so we won't miss any episodes! It will be perfect for over the Summer, as we can have a weekly bible discussion over it, as each episode is based on a scriptural theme! In fact The American Bible Society has built a bible study to go with the series! Making it even easier for parents to continue their child's bible education over the Summer months! And for you Touched by an Angel fans, good news- Della Reese, has also come to the show as Valerie's replacement! As has the wonderful Valerie HopperWoo Hoo!
