How does a craft book about Duct tape have a NOLA?

Well we DO have the World War II museum, and Duct tape came about after a lovely lady
Vesta Stout, developed the idea of needing stronger cloth tape for packing up ammo boxes to be sent to the military overseas fighting! She contacted the president and got the ball rolling for Johnson and Johnson to eventually develop the duct tape we all know and love today.

So if not for a World War II servicemen's mother, we wouldn't have duct tape!
And there is your connection...

well that and ye old jokes about rednecks and duct tape....LOL

Review:

This book covers projects that are both easy (roll bracelets) and those more involved (pencil topper roses), making it perfect for family time, or for camps, or VBS time!

The instructions are very clear and easy to follow along with. As you can see below, the girls started making the wallets and did a pretty decent job of them too! Their next fun project is a water bottle holder, complete with carrying strap! There are plenty of projects for inside and outside play, and plenty to keep kids busy
(keep this book in mind for SNOW days, cause you KNOW they're coming)!

We found it a lot of fun, and it's great for crafting get togethers, and would be wonderful as birthday and Christmas presents (121 days and counting), along with a few rolls of fun duct tape! Miss Grace and friends give it an ultimate high five for fun!

  3. The origin of duct tape is very interesting! We use it all the time, but not for crafts. I'll have to buy some colorful rolls and make something.
