Funny Face, a name you know and love is kids snacking,
has a new product that they want to share with you:

Decas, the maker of  Funny Face Dried Cranberries, is re-launching Funny Face in convenient, new raisin-like containers - perfect for lunch boxes, or after school snacking! They want to bring the FUN back in to healthy eating this Fall season!
We were sent a fun Meet Funny Face Cranberries pack:

Miss Grace adores cranberries, and takes them in her lunch EVERY day, and has for years, so I was wondering what she would think about the flavored cranberries. The new lunch boxes were in Choo Choo Cherry flavor and  feature 50% LESS sugar! That is something that parents can be thrilled about! Course we have always loved how many vitamins and anti-oxidants she gets from cranberries, but having less sugar is spectacular! Did you know that having one box of the Funny Face Cranberries has the same benefits as drinking an 8 oz. glass of cranberry juice with 27% juice? It's true! Miss Grace thought the cranberries were amazing tasting and declared them her new favorite cranberries! I'd call that a positive rating!

Here's a fun cranberry fact for you: Contrary to popular belief, cranberries do not grow in water. They are grown on sandy bogs or marshes. Because cranberries float, some bogs are flooded when the fruit is ready for harvesting, to make it easier to pick them. Betcha didn't know that, did ya?

During Fall we're always adding cranberries into our baking, as they compliment apples so well, and it seems like we only bake with apples from September to November! The Funny Face Choo Choo Cherry Cranberries add a subtle hint of cherry as well, really making your baked goods spectacular (shhhh- don't tell Miss Grace I snatched one of her packs to add to the crisp!). For those of you on a gluten-free diet- the cranberries ARE gluten-free, but they are processed at a plant that handles wheat products, so they might have a trace of gluten in them. The plant also processes nuts, so the same applies. Funny Face has great recipes on its website, Pinterest and Facebook pages! They also have seasonal activities for the kids!

Funny Face Cranberries also come in Rootin Tootin Raspberry, Goofy Grape and Freckle Face Strawberry flavors too! You can purchase Funny Face Cranberries online thru Decas, Amazon and your local grocery store (with more stores coming soon!).

Be sure to check out their Facebook page for special weekly giveaways all October long, for Funny Faces!
