Today I have the second cookbook in the of the Healthy Kitchen series from Parragon Books and Love Food (I reviewed another volume, the Sugar Free Kitchen last Friday).

Review:
The first section leads the newbie to 'clean eating' to how to buy different foods, what to look for and the best choices. The goal of the book is to 'keep it simple'- no long lengthy recipes, but simple and easy recipes. The book covers Breakfast, Lunches and Snacks, Dinner (Main Dishes), and Desserts and Baking, 50 recipes in all. Every recipe is accompanied by a full page color picture-something all cooks LOVE to see! If you are looking for alternate Thanksgiving recipes, you'll find them here- Roasted Pork with Rosemary Potatoes, Stuffed Eggplants, Roasted Tomato Soup, Zucchini Fritters, and Spiced Plum and Blackberry Brulees! The Ricotta Cheesecake really looks yummy too! The recipes overflow with freshness and any cook, or recipient on you holiday list would love this book!
