Welcome to a new story, that will quickly become a new holiday tradition
and that leads kids to the manger, in an unique way!
A Star for Me cover

Synopsis:
A Star for Me is a count-your-blessings story that will soon become a beloved bedtime tradition during the holidays. At the beginning of the Christmas season, your children will look forward to reading the book and hanging the ornament on a bottom branch of the Christmas tree. Then your family can enjoy the entire story at once or read a few pages at a time as an Advent countdown. Each night, children can read a bit more about Oliver, an adorable little camel who is part of the caravan traveling toward Bethlehem.

As Oliver learns about God’s blessings on each new page, young readers are prompted to talk about their own blessings and then move the star ornament a bit higher on the tree each night. On Christmas Day, children can move the star all the way to the top of the tree and remember the greatest blessing of all—Jesus!

Review:

This new board book is aimed at kids ages 4-8, and encourages children to count their blessings at Christmas, as they read the story of Oliver, the littlest camel heading to the most wonderful event ever. It is an adorable story, and Miss Grace ADORED being able to read it herself, and start a new tradition! It just so coincided with her putting out her 'Little People' nativity set, so she had her camels and crew, to help her tell the story! It was very sweet, just like the story!

The book comes with a lovely star ornament, that is perfect to add to your tree as a reminder of the one star that shone so bright. It is sure to breig back memories every time it is placed on the tree! The book would make a lovely Christmas present, especially for the child that is traveling to your house for Christmas, and may feel overlooked in all the pre-Christmas rush, or for the child who is separated from loved ones at the holiday! We highly recommend it for your house's annual holiday reading!

  1. We have an advent calender. I also have a tree. I have my daughter pick an ornament of the tree every night and we read the bible story that goes with it.
