Disclosure / Disclaimer: I received these products, free of charge, from Pine Brothers, for review purposes on this blog. No other compensation, monetary or in kind, has been received or implied for this post. Nor was I told how to post about them.
As a blogger, you get asked lots of questions about the products you review, or share about.
One I get asked a lot, is "How many of the products I reviewed, here at BTHM, am I still using, after 5 years of blogging?"
The answer is actually most of them that still fit our lifestyle, and are still available!
And one of Miss Grace's FAVORITE products is:
These drops are still being made from the original 1870 Pine Brothers recipe, featuring soothing natural qualities of glycerin, along with the healing properties of gum acacia, some natural flavoring and sweetener, here in the USA. These soft, gummie-like softies have only 5 calories each, with only1 g of sugar per each drop, and are Gluten FREE! How about that for being able to stick with your new Year's diet? And because they are natural, they are safe for kids over the age of 3!
We first reviewed these old fashioned sore throat drops 3 years ago, and Miss Grace is VERY quick to let me know when we are getting low! She carries them in her backpack at school, and since they contain no medicine, she is allowed to use them when needed. With her frequent sinus drain, this makes for a happy student, and as we all know a happy student is able to concentrate and do better in school!
We both love the pucks for their ease of carrying, and their ability to hold a decent amount of drops. We actually are both partially to the honey and cherry flavors equally (and not big fans of the black licorice flavor), so we were excited to try their new Lemon Citrus flavor! It is definitely lemon! You get a big burst of lemon, and then a more subtle citrus flavor. But you get the same great results, that you expect from Pine Bros.- a sore throat that is soothed and comfortable!
These wonderful drops come in 2 size options- a compact round 'puck' with 26 unwrapped softies, perfect for your purse or backpack, and a 32 oz. bag with 32 drops, perfect for home and office use (or for refilling 2 pucks, like we do!). The drops are available at your local Walmart, Walgreen's, CVS and Rite-Aid stores, as well as numerous other retailers. You can also purchase directly from the Pine Brothers website!
So trust your sore throats to Pine Bros. like we do and you'll get converted too!
