Review:
Don't know what to get for a pre-teen or teen for their birthday? Get them this book and a $25 Hobby Lobby (or your local craft store) gift card, and they can get the supplies they need to make some of the great mini projects in this book! You'll be boosting their creativity and giving them a gift that keeps on giving!

I was thrilled that this book covers everything in your child's room- furniture, study area, closet, walls and organizing their stuff! Yeah team! As you can see from above- study area included a great way to use those fabric rubber bands that they don't want to use anymore to make fabric book covers, ways to organize their must have info on their walls in an organized way, that is helpful for studying and even a way to glam up those ugly computer cords- who knew?

The bedroom section includes some pretty helpful hints, that as you can see includes basic design ideas that will carry them into adulthood!

All in all I was pretty impressed with how many projects were packed into this little book! Many of them would be great for other places in the house, or to have your kids make for birthday presents for their friends!

The crafty projects continue with a ribbon chandelier- which Miss Grace is eager to make!-, an envelope organizer to hold cherished folders on the wall, a picture frame to show off colorful jewelry, painted craft boxes for bookshelves for trinkets and needed items, a braided rug from old clothing (recycling!), a super easy string art project (remember making those in school?), and mod podging furniture knobs! Some of those projects might be great for your room too!

This is a great book, and I'm leaving you with a simple project from the book, that just requires basic sewing skills, and that would be great for Summer 'I'm bored' moments too- Making a T-shirt Pillow!

It is a great way to recycle, but keep those old t-shirts that you teen loves. And if they have a daybed, the more pillows the better, right?
