This spring, join Nielsen-Massey Vanillas as we raise a toast to the return of warmer weather with a refreshing, fruity cocktail recipe. Whether at a Mother’s Day brunch, a Belmont Race Day brunch, an outdoor dinner party or a graduation celebration, spring cocktails are a delicious way to bring the gathering together.
I don't know about you, but as much as I love mimosas, they get old after a while and you want something that refreshes just as well, but has a twist. This recipe from Nielsen-Massey just screams NOLA to me- it's lemon syrup mixed with raspberries is reminiscent of snowballs and adding vodka to it brings to mind hurricane drinks!
Nielsen-Massey Tahititan Vanilla has a fruity cherry like essence to it, making it perfect for drink syrups, sweet tea syrup and even the aforementioned snowball syrups! It is really a 'sweet' dessert vanilla, and will remind you of Summer, whereas the Bourbon Vanilla is more Fall/Winter. I love having different vanillas for different times of the year! We've been using it for all sorts of fruit based desserts, and it really elevates your recipes to a new level!
So be sure to check out this perfect brunch recipe, and remember the Lemon syrup can be used for baking, snowballs, popsicles, iced teas and more!
