Review:

Miss Grace was smitten with Channing from page 1- she's a girl after her own heart with her pencil and ponytail! The books are perfect for her, they are short, easy to read, chapters, full of things she knows (tribulations of school) and adventures to be had. They remind me of the Magic Treehouse books in many ways. I loved that there was plenty of science along with the adventures, to keep Miss Grace thinking and wanting to check out things she learned about. She loved book 2 a bit more, as she is really into geology and archeology right now! I love it when books make her ask questions and seek the answers! Proof that children's Christian fiction CAN be educational! These books are perfect for fitting into your child's Summer reading program!

These new cover editions were released at the begining of the month, and updated editions of the the otehr books in the series will be out soon! Be sure to check out the Channing O'Banning website for some great related activities that tie into the books for more Summer fun!
