Hmmmmm....

But that also means that many of you readers, who are parents are thinking about birthday party plans for this Summer!

I have JUST the book to solve all your party planning problems:

Synopsis:

The Ultimate Disney Party Book is your perfect partner when throwing a party. Whether it's a birthday party, baby shower, celebration of a milestone, or barbeque, this book will make it a very special event. The book is divided into eight chapters based on Disney themes, including Aladdin, Disney Princesses, Toy Story, Mickey and Minnie, Monsters, Inc., Wreck-it Ralph, Planes, and Captain Hook. Each chapter contains instructions for invitations, decorations, crafts, activities, and recipes – all celebrating favorite characters and films.
Flying Carpet Invitations, a Hidden Mickey Scavenger Hunt, Mike Wazowski Cupcakes, the “I’m Gonna Wreck It!” Penthouse Pinata, and Belle’s French Baguette Sandwiches are just a sampling of the projects that are presented with detailed, easy-to-follow instructions and photographs. This unique book makes any party a celebration to remember for a lifetime.

Review:

The eight chapters are pretty thorough in providing EVERYTHING you need to plan and have a great birthday party! Each chapter starts with themed invitations, items for the table or place settings, great snacks, take home gifts and even a super easy cake that  you CAN make! They also have the needed templates in the back of the book, to enlarge, to help you on your way to being 'that MOM', who has the great birthday parties! But the ideas in the book aren't JUST for birthdays! Take the Aladin party:

With the video re-released from the vault this past week, you could throw a 'summer camp' day of fun activities centered around watching the movie, making the crafts from the party theme, showing how to make rock candy, and of course making those adorable monkey caramel apples to take home (aka send them HOME with sugar too! LOL).You could really pull games from different themes to help round out your day, as they are all what we call 'basic birthday party games' (which no one seems to play anymore- we do!). What a great way to share the fun with your child and their friends! You could also do the same for any of the themes!

Just look at HOW cute! You really could make your OWN Disney fun camp with your kids and their friends over the Summer, with a party per week! Think how much fun they would have and what great Summer memories they will share at school in September.

The book is great for year round entertaining, even for adults, and I highly recommend it as a baby shower gift- never too soon to start thinking ahead! So be sure to pick this one up if you have kids who adore the Disney movies!

  1. This looks like such a fun book to have. My niece would enjoy it a lot, she is a big Disney and Micky Mouse fan.
