Giveaway: Oh, Give me a Home Where the Who Dats Roam by Rhonda Valladares

Disclosure / Disclaimer: I received this giveaway, free of charge, from the author, for review purposes on this blog. No other compensation, monetary or in kind, has been received or implied for this post. Nor was I told how to post about it

And now for a fun giveaway,
from one of our favorite Louisiana authors!

You may remember Rhonda from our recent giveaway of her Lil Yat books!

This new book shares everything and the great places in NOLA that kids and adults love, like Storyland (don't forget Christmas in the Oaks is a mere 2 months away! Miss Grace's dance team is performing there opening night!) and City Park (shout out to NOMA-Studio Kids this Staurday), Cafe du Monde, Audubon Zoo, St Charles Ave and its streetcars, downtown and Mardi Gras, and of course the Saints!  We always go by Cafe Du Monde after a Zoo visit, I don't know about your family! There are new characters, just as cute and funny as her previous Lil Yats,  and charming illustrations from a new illustrator, Christiane Gullung is a mixed-media artist! Her illustrations really help to bring a different look to the book- one that adults will love to check out as much as kids!

Check out some of those illustrations (from Rhonda's Facebook page, and Northshore Mama, as I offered up my review copy for this giveaway instead) and see which ones are your favorites:

Rhonda decided that all NOLA area little girls needed one of her new characters to hug and hold, after seeing how little girls loved NOLA themed toys in her shop, so wa-la : Meet Dat-ty Girl!
