blast off back to school banner

The 2015-2016 school year is here, and Fall is rapidly approaching (you smelled the pumpkin spice EVERYWHERE already, right? LOL), and chilly winds are soon to follow.

From soothing hot chocolate post trick or treating, to a soothing cup of tea, to a robust cup of coffee, I've got a perfect way to start your day, wake up, warn up and entertain your family and friends,  as the temperatures drop.

icoffee opus

Meet your new best friend!!!!!!

I know, you just said, "oh a coffee maker". But no my friends, this is NOT just a run of the mill coffee maker! This coffee maker literally will make the BEST coffee you have ever had at home from a stock brewer. PERIOD.

I know you just 'pshawed' me, didn't you?

Let me walk you through this lovely machine and you'll soon understand why you need to go check out the iCoffee Opus!

icoffee opus package contents

The iCoffee Opus is a single serving brewer with some VERY unique features! In the box, you get the brewer, including it's LARGE 75 oz water reservoir (EASILY accessed on the left side), the brewer itself, a removeable drip tray that handles large mugs and regular cups with ease, the
iCup (an ecofriendly reusable k-cup, that allows YOU to customize EACH cup of coffee you make) and a special 6 pack of special k-cups to try, including coffee and tea! Plus you get not only a quick start guide, but an actual manual (I know, HOW rare is that nowadays!).

The removable drip tray can be placed one way to hold your cup at the correct height for receiving the coffee, or you can flip it and have it hold your large travel mug (see below). You can make from 4 ounces to 12 ounces, with ease! And since the tray is removable, it means it is easy to clean, in case of any spillage, something all busy parents will love! And because it has a magnet, it will stay put to the brewer and nto move while your coffee is brewing!

But what I really LOVE about the iCoffee Opus, is the freedom (and budget saver) of using iCoffee’s iCup, and using my favorite blend, or flavor of coffee, or any single-serve k-cups. This means you aren't limited by a certain ground, amount, or flavor. Your coffee is literally YOUR choice! Making tea, not coffee? Again, you can add fresh mint leaves or ginger to your tea in the iCup, and get a soothing blend made just the way YOU want it!

And since the iCup is reusable, you'll feel better about using a single serve brewer and its effect on the environment! You can use your used grounds for gardening or composting, and not be stuck with a plastic cup to deal with. Plus it is so easy to clean- you just rinse with water! Easy peasy!

icoffee opus water reservoir

And even thought the iCoffee Opus is a single serve brewer, you can make back to back cups with ease, with it's LARGE 75 oz reservoir. As you can see, that is a LARGE amount of water! And unlike other single brewers, it is EASY to fill and put back in place! Plus the blue light lets you know you need to put water in the tank. And you have to admit the blue glow is pretty neat and high tech looking!

But what REALLY elevates the iCoffee Opus to divine, is it's patented SpinBrewTechnology.

Did you know that your water may be part of why your coffee is no longer tasting good?

Yup- if you have a water softening system or well water, your may have excess sodium in your water. When that sodium meets your coffee in the k-cup, it's ions attach around the coffee grounds and make them
harder to penetrate, and THAT can clog the hot water nozzle and cause grounds to spill out of the k-cup and all over your machine AND to clog the nozzle, which means LESS coffee! And THAT means your coffee k-cup isn't producing the cup of coffee that is should be!

But with Spinbrew Technology, that problem has been SOLVED! The Spinbrew nozzle has jets that CIRCULATE, breaking up those ions and reaching ALL of the coffee in the k-cup! So much like a French Press, ALL the coffee is being used correctly.

icoffee opus dial a brew

Add the Dial a Brew convenience of the iCoffee Opus, that allows you to select the correct water level amount, and you have a recipe for a PERFECT cup of coffee that is richer, more flavorable, smoother, and a FULL cop of coffee!

And did I mention QUICK? The iCoffee Opus works twice as fast as other single cup brewers, thanks to the Spinbrew Technology! You just fill you iCoffee iCup, or use a k-cup, dial the amount of ounces you want, close the k-cup holder, and press the start button (the dial button) and your perfect cup of coffee is on it's way!

icoffee opus cup of coffee

Seriously. Hands down, BEST single cup brewer. Period.

There is no bitterness, you have a rich FULL bodied cup of coffee, that tastes like it came from a coffeehouse. And in less than 60 seconds. You really can not beat that!

And I know what you're saying. But there's no timer! You don't NEED a timer with the iCoffee Opus! It is SO quick, all you need to do is to have your iCup already filled, or grab a k-cup and you will literally have a great cup of coffee in literally 45 seconds. That is LESS than a minute. Who needs a timer? Note- the blue light will light up above/behind your cup as the coffee is brewing and then turn off when done, so you can visually note when it is done.

The iCoffee Opus is a bit bigger than other single brewers, but once you try a cup of coffee from it, you'll gladly make room on your counter for it. And even with it's hi-tech look, it is visually pleasing to the eye, with it's balanced look.

The iCoffee Opus comes to us from Remington, a copy that has been in business since 1816, with it's home product division running since 1937. With a history like that, you KNOW you are getting a quality product! In fact, it has a one year warranty. Which as you know is great, as most hi-tech products only have 90 days anymore!

The iCoffee Opus is available at Bed, Bath and Beyond stores nationwide, and some additional retailers. Check the iCofee store locator, for one near you!
