Disclosure / Disclaimer: I received this ebook, free of charge,from Disney-Hyperion , via Netgalley, for review purposes on this blog. No other compensation, monetary or in kind, has been received or implied for this post. Nor was I told how to post about it

And now for another book, that helps our kids learn from disappointment!

This is the follow up to Book 1 of the series,

Synopsis:

There's a new resident at the Magical Animal Adoption Agency-but this one hasn't hatched yet! Mr. Jams brought home an enchanted egg from his last journey, and Clover can't wait to find out what kind of creature the polka-dotted shell contains.

But one morning when Clover checks on the cozy nest of feathers she's made for the egg, she finds it empty, and the baby animal is nowhere in sight! Clover is anxious to find the creature, but the Agency is full of visitors looking for pets of their own. Will Clover be able to match them with their perfect companions and save the mysterious animal before Mr. Jams returns from his trip?

Review:

Kids in the 2-5th grade level with identify very easily with Clover, as they and their friends are starting to go off in different directions, as far as extra curricular activities and likes. They will understand how Clover feels left out, even though no one made it their purpose to leave her out. But as the proverbial saying goes, when one door closes, another opens, and Clover finds The Magical Animal Adoption Agency, and a whole new world opens up for her.

this book is a lovely reminder to kids that better opportunities might just be around the corner, and being left out/behind isn't always a bad thing. Clover learns from each animal she finds homes for, and in doing so, learns compassion and empathy, 2 very valuable lessons, as her confidence builds and she learns to believe in herself! This is a lovely book, and perfect for gift giving, especially as a 2 book set for Christmas! If you have a young daughter/granddaughter/nice, make sure they get to read this series!
