If you recall, last school year, I shared with you about a GREAT pencil sharpener, that Miss Grace shared with her classroom, the Classroom Friendly Supplies  Pencil Sharpener.

That sharpener not only was a hit, but it survived the school year and is still going strong in the teacher's classroom.

As you can see you get not only the sharpener when you order, but a clamp, to secure the sharpener to your desk, table or counter.  A permament mount is also available, if you wish to screw it into a more stable mount, that will NOT be moved. 

 It has an old-school retro look, as you can see. And as you can see above, it has an old fashioned blade that just flat out WORKS perfectly every time! You can also buy replacement blades, something you might not be able to do for pricier models from other companies!

The sharpener works on STANDARD sized pencils, and we have found that it works best on pencils without extra coatings on them-so the 'smelly' pencils may not work well in it.But your traditional pack of 10/20 #2 pencils will work just fine!

Miss Grace's classmates all quickly learned how to use the sharpener last year, and I'm thrilled that the excellent design has remained the same, with this new model.

It is so easy to use, as you can see- the sharpener is 'locked', until you press the top buttons together to open the sharpener. Then you put your pencil in, release the tabs and sharpen. The sharpener has an automatic stopping feature, once the perfect point is formed, to prevent over-sharpening. That was something that the teacher LOVED last year, as it made the pencil sharpening line go VERY quickly! It's easy to pull the tray out and dump the shavings, no taking apart of the sharpener is needed. Yeah! Plus as the sharpener is uber quiet, its use during class instruction helps to eliminates noise interruptions. Which made it a very big hit last year! It's also a great sharpener to have at home, especially if you home school!
