Review:

Just released last month, this is an amazing little book from Joyce! While you hear 'power words' and think of what we speak, what is more powerful is what we HEAR. Are you taking the time to HEAR what God is saying directly to you, or via HIS words, from the bible?  Once you do, it will be easier to let YOUR power words equal his and to allow a more peaceful and hopeful life to come to you. And it makes sense, doesn't it? If you take out all the harmful, time consuming thoughts you do NOT need, then suddenly, life IS more peaceful and you are more content.

The book is divided into 5 parts: The Power of Your Words, Changing Your Words=Spiritual Growth, Right Words= Help Through the Middle, Let Your Words Work For You and Your Words Determine Your Future. Each section builds on the previous, to lead you to understanding how important the word of God is and how to align your words with his, Joyce also includes three appendices all with scripture quotes to assist in your studying- Confessions from the Word of God, Scriptures to Remind You of the Power of God, and Scriptures on the Power of Confessing God;s Word.

Which means overall you get a wonderful book that teaches, but can also serve as a prayer group starting point. It is easy to take a chapter, which are only 4-5 small pages (the hardback fits in the palm of your hand), read it out loud, add appropriate bible verses from the appendices and then discuss together. Which is how we plan to use the book in the new youth group that Miss Grace and her dance friends are starting up. It's a great little book from Joyce, and we can't recommend it enough,
