Review:

Admittedly some of Joey's tips, might make you go 'ewww' like having half a tampon sticking out of your ear on a flight, due to crying babies, but they ARE effective. LOL. There are tips for all sorts of travel- airplane, train, cruise ship- and for staying at hotels. many of the tips would also work at home, for when en emergency strikes. In many ways Joey's tips are like 'McGuyver Tips' for everybody! In fact, he even mention's when the tips were in the series! LOL

As you can see above, hiding money in your hotel room is some really out of the way places, that don't get cleaned on a daily basis is pretty ingenious, especially if you are in anther country, and don't want to carry your cash with you everywhere you go! Also ingenious is using dental floss to allow dripping water to slide down it, without making any noise, allowing you to get a good night's sleep at your hotel, and then tell maintenance about it when it's convenient for you. FYI, this also works just as well at home, as we tested that one out- it was great mini-science experiment for Miss Grace!

And while the tips of putting a towel down to block noise from the hallway is definitely one of those 'oh duh head slap' moments, I had never thought of using the included hangers to pull curtains shut, so that little ray of sunshine at 530 sunrise doesn't wake you up an hour before your alarm goes off!

Like I said, most of these tips are so insanely easy, it almost seems criminal to have to buy a book of them. BUT, how many times have you heard something like this and gone 'I shoulda thought of that?". Yup, THIS is the book you need. Especially if you are going on a cruise- that chapter alone is pretty cool, especially if your boat gets stranded or is without power! There are some pretty cool tips there!

This would be a great book to give to someone as a pre-travel gift, or for  co-ed as they are greduating (may is around the corner!), as many tips, like starting a dead car battery, are useful in every day life!
