Last month I told you about how DetoxWater can really help your body, and if frozen a little, it makes a great frozen treat.

But with the holiday weekend upon us, and Summer officially here, I wanted to share a couple of ways to enjoy DetoxWater, for the over 21 crowd- yes Mom, that means YOU!

Can't go to the Bahamas just yet?
Then this first drink is for you, and it honors National Strawberry Month too!

Strawberry Tropical Storm

Strawberry Tropical Storm

Even the kid said, WOW that smells GOOD. Course she wasn't allowed any, LOL

2 oz White Rum
2 oz Mango DetoxWater
2 ox Pineapple DetoxWater
.5 oz  tequilla or grenadine (will make the drink red)
.5 oz simple syrup, if you want a sweeter drink
Strawberries and lemon zest, for garnish
Chipped ice

Blend all ingredients together and servc. Or you can refreeze for a more slushie effect, or for a popsicle! You can add more fruit and some red wine, if you want and get a tropical sangria too!

If you like your drinks more straight up, then check out this simple one, that requires only 3 ingredients

Detox Margarita

DetoxWater
Cordina Frozen Margarita Mix
Chipped Ice

This one is SO easy, it's criminal: take the mix, half the bottle of Detoxwater and the ice, and blend.
That's it, frozen margarita slushie 101!
Oh, you can upgrade it a notch by adding some lemon zest too!
BUT, you can take it up a notch by then freezing the mix in popsicle molds. Yup. This Memorial Day you can have your Margartia Frozen!

I hope these recipes have given you some ideas for the weekend!  Enjoy!

  1. This Strawberry Tropical Storm does look wonderful. My A/C is broken right now, and I could use a little refreshment!
