Continuing our search for healthy Summer and travel snacks,
we have a line of snacks that both kids and parents will like!

When you let the kid open a box, as you got 4 in the mail, and it is KILLING her that none have her name on them (bad UPS man! LOL), and you hear a scream, you know something has her excited.

Toys? Nope
Books? Nope, passe in our house!
Crafts? Nope
Food?

AHA, as she keeps grabbing and putting packs on the table, the answer is at hand (literally, pun intended!)

The kid has become re-obsessed with ducks since friends of our rescued an abandoned egg and hatched a duck! he's insanely cute, and thinks he's a chicken, as he hatched with them! It's too funny!
So when she saw the logo on this line of natural, organic treats, she was hooked before she even opened a bag of snacks from Little Duck Organics!

This new line of snack line is made up of 100%  organic, healthy snacks for your whole family. Since Little Duck Organics are GMO free, gluten free, kosher and free of preservatives- they are a safe and nutritious snack for your little duck!

little duck organics yogurt line

>Miss Grace started with the samples of the Tiny Yogurts line. This line of snacks comes in 3 different flavors (Coconut Raspeberry (my fav),  Mango  Goji and Pomegranate Acai (Miss Grace's fav). Each bite contains the full antioxidant power of fresh superfruits, B-vitamins and Iron, plus the added benefit of probiotics from yogurt. But not just any yogurt!

The  GondenBC Probiotics in these snacks are never neutralized when you digest them, like other probiotics are (did you know that?). They have a layer of protein to protect them, so that they survive in your body 100x better than those in traditional yogurts, which means they get to DO their job in helping your body to stay healthy by supporting your immune system and digestive tract! Isn't that what you buy yogurt for?  Each bag of snacks has 1.5 BILLION probiotic cultures, the equal of 2 daily servings! Not to mention 40% less sugar than other 'natural' brands! Now THAT is something Mom can love too!

And did I mentioned they are sorta addicting? Seriously. One handful and suddenly you want another! They are similar to a dried fruit that melts in your mouth. It seems odd at first and then suddenly you realize you ate the whole handful, cause they were so yummy!

Little Duck Orange, Carrot & Goji Tiny Gummies

Speaking of addicting- I didn't think I would wrangle get the bag of the Little Duck Orange, Carrot & Goji Tiny Gummies from her, so I could try a BITE! Like the Yogurt Bites, these snacks are made from the highest quality 100% fruit purees, and are both a superfood and a super probiotic. Each serving has 1 billion cultures to help support your immune and digestive systems, as well as antioxidants, iron and vitamin C. NO added sugar, NO preservatives, Nothing but flavor! The kid is SERIOUSLY hooked on this flavor combo- she had a look of nirvana the whole time she was eating them. No surprise really, carrot and orange have been her fav flavors since she was a baby! The Gummies also come in Pomegranate, Blueberry & Acai  flavor!

little duck Tiny Fruits flavors

The Tiny Fruits line comes in 4 flavors-Blueberry Banana, Apple Mango, Strawberry Mango and Apple Banana. The fruits are diced and water is freeze-zapped out. What you get are vitamin and nutrient-dense, freeze dried fruit snacks. NO added sugar, NO preservatives. So instead of buying 'fruit' snacks for your toddler and kids filled with preservatives, check out these fruit snacks, made form nothing BUT fruit!

Blueberry & Banana Tiny Fruits

And they'll love them 100x better too! Not only do they taste like real fruit, they have less than 75 calories PER bag. Plus they are LOADED with THREE of your daily fruit servings! For example,Blueberry & Banana Tiny Fruits flavor is filled with up to a whopping half-pound of organic blueberries and bananas! And the freeze drying process saves all the good enzymes, vitamins and nutrients from the fruit, so you're getting PURE nutrition! Miss Grace INHALED these, declaring them her fav dried fruit snack ever! And yes, it was hard getting her to share that one handful too! LOL

The Little Duck Organics line also includes an oat based cereal in 3 flavors- Blueberry Cinnamon, Coconut Banana and Naked. We didn't try it, but it is suitable for babies 6 months and up! Isn't that great? A cereal your whole family can eat!

You can purchase the Little Duck products online through  their online store (get 15# off your first order online, if you sign up for the Little Duck newsletter), or you can purchase them at your local Target, Safeway, ToysR Us, Whole Foods, Walgreen's and other stores-= check online for a store near you!

Once you try these snacks you will LOVE how great they taste. They are perfect for not only your kids, but you too (especially if you are dieting and need a healthy, low-cal snack). And because they are so portable, you'll want to have a bag with you wherever you take the kids, and especially on those long car trips. Wouldn't you rather hand them a snack that is really half their daily fruit intake, than something full of fake ingredients and sugar? Yup, I know you would!
