All this week I'll be sharing about some great tasting snacks, that are perfect for Summer travel, especially when the kids are stuck in the car, as well as for Summer snacking at home!

If it was up to most kids, they’d eat chocolate-covered everything all year round, and being at home during the summertime really amps up their eating of junk food. Sometimes its just the summer heat urging your child to the ice cream truck daily, or extracurricular activities, like camps, having them eating a lot of processed junk food as snacks. It can be difficult time to maintain healthy habits that they kept up with during the school year! But by having healthier options at home, on the road and in the go-packs,you give your kids a chance for healthy Summer snacking too!

Up first- a new take on a fruit roll, that MIGHT just have YOU stealing the kids' snacks!

Matt's Munchies  is a THREE-ingredient dried fruit snack,  that contains ONE FULL SERVING of fruit per package. Now that is something every parent can love! Add to that that every one of the  Matt’s Munchies varieties are USDA Organic, Gluten-free, Kosher-Pareve, Vegan and Non-GMO Project Verified. Now you really love them, right? And did I mention ONLY 90 calories per PACK???

Available in delicious flavors like Island Mango and Apple-licious, the fun roll-up is actually squares, making it not only easier to eat, but easier to share. Like in the car- you know the song- "Mom, she's not sharing" or the "Ewwww he licked the entire roll". With Matt's Muchies, it's easy to tear off a paper section of 4 pieces and hand them out to each kid. Sharing problem SOLVED!

And don;t they just look YUMMY?

And YES they are! Miss Grace is seriously addicted to them already!

I love that they are so good for her! Island Mango has Organic Mango Puree, Organic Coconut Puree and Organic Coconut Flakes. That's IT! She just loves how GOOD they taste! I'm telling you, once your kids get used to goof healthy snacks, the processed stuff always taste funny, and they hardly want to eat it!

You can literally SEE the goodness in Matt's Munchies too:

And while yes, your kids could eat the entire pack, 4 pieces is actually quite satisfying, thanks to the chew factor involved, so one back can definitely hold hunger at bay, til you get to the next pit stop on your Summer car trip!
