Summer is just around the corner ...
literally- the kid has FOUR days left of school!
But because it's LOUISIANA, we've already had 90 degree with 89% humidity days.
Ah, Spring we miss you SO!
Honeywell, a name you know for quality products, unstands that you will be on to go a WHOLE lot over the next 2.5 months and they want to help.
So they came up with a great little solution to keeping you cool, no matter where you are!
Whether it’s enjoying a picnic with the kids, relaxing by the pool, or doing yoga in the park, their Turbo on the Go! portable fan is the perfect way to cool down and enjoy summertime.
The Turbo on the Go! portable fan can be taken anywhere , like the beach, gym, or traveling, thanks to its unique easy-to-fold and hang handle design! Weighing in at approximately ½ pound, Honeywell’s new fan is super lightweight, even with its 4 AA batteries (not included) to carry, It also comes with a great USB power cord, so you can plug it in the car to save your battery life, or for when you need to keep cool while doing work on your laptop by the pool (you know I'm talking about you fellow bloggers! LOL). Or you can use your cell phone USB charger with it and use it in your hotel room, or your office!
As you can see above, the cord attached to the back of the fan, but can go under the handle so it doesn't interfere with the fan's use. The batteries also go in the back, in an EASY open rear compartment! Once they're installed, you just grab the hang handle and pull up to ready it for on-the-go use, and push the front button to start it. You can also use the hang handle pushed the opposite way, to act as a sitting stand for your fan (like in the top pix). It can be moved to different sittings, so you can get your flow just right on you!
There is only one speed on the fan, but it is JUST right to help get you cooled down quickly, and keep you cool!In fact, you can feel the airflow up to 3 feet away! That's pretty amazing for a fan that really is about the size of your hand! And thanks to its internal DC (versus AC) motor, it will save 50% more energy, meaning your batteries will last longer!
Miss Grace's fav place to use the fan is actually in the car! When you get into a4 dr sedan, or Suva, or minivan, that has been parked outside for hours in that 90 degree heat, you KNOW how hot the rear seats are. And unless you have vents right on the kids, they're gonna complain for at least 10 minutes, they're burning up, right? hand them the Turbo on the Go fan and problem is solved! That smile above was un-posed- she got in the car with it in her hand, tried it and was surprised at how it kept her cool til she felt the ac!
She also figured out how well it would fit in her dance bag, cause you know ALL the good stuff eventually ends up in her dance bag (I have yet to figure that one out, LOL). Course her logic was as the studio is on the second floor, with lots of windows and no ac on for 3 days, it gets HOT in the studio, and it takes the ac too long to cool down, while they're trying to warm up. 4 girls literally passed it back and forth, and had it sitting on the floor in front of them, to get them air while they warmed up. I'm not sure who was more addicted to it, the 5, 9 or 12 yr olds! (there was a cute pix of them all together but the kid accidentally erased both the blurry and good one, which I didn't realize til 2 days ago.. SIGH)
This is a great little fan and one we will definitely make use of while on the road this Summer for Summer vacation! We can use it in the car, at the hotel (you know it always takes your room about 20 minutes to cool down when you first get there), while she's in between slots at competition, and then while out sight seeing! If you're traveling by plan or train, it would be a huge help too! And I can't imagine camping out with out it! Once you try it, you'll be hooked like the girls were too!
And now the SUPER DUPER good News!
I get to give one of YOU one of the Turbo on the Go! portable fans too! WOOT!
One BTHM reader will win their on Turbo on the Go! portable fan to keep them cool this Summer!
