Synopsis:
An air of discord settles over Hope Valley when Jack's spirited mother, Charlotte, pays an unexpected visit… and stays with Elizabeth. While Charlotte "helpfully" critiques Elizabeth's skills as a housekeeper, pie-maker and teacher, Rosemary has become a bit of a taskmaster herself for those helping with her imminent wedding to Lee. Meanwhile Gowen comes under suspicion for "irregularities" in the bank's bookkeeping, and as he and Nora prepare to leave town, Bill and Jack must contend with a violent storm, rising flood waters and the collapse of the Silverton mine!

Poor Elizabeth! Just when everything seems to be getting back on track in Hope Valley, Jack's mother lands. Surprise! Meeting your potential mother-in-law is never easy, but having it be a surprise? Even worse! So it's no surprise, they find themselves at odds! And then the biggest mother, Mother Nature steps in, and adds more drama. SIGH. Once again the mine is struck and lives are about to change. This episode will have you glued to the TV, waiting to see what will happen next! The episode also gives families a lot to talk about- how expectations and assumptions can get the best of us, how actions without thought can lead to problems and how to survive natural disasters! Whew! As the season has moved on, this show continues to be an excellent family series, and we really can't recommend it enough!
This sounds full of drama! I would enjoy it!
