We recently got to check out another box and WOWSA, was it like Christmas!
So let's get into the box, shall we?
Crunchmaster Multi-Grain Crackers with Sea Salt- A light topping of sea salt is all that is needed to bring out the great taste of these gluten free alternative to processed wheat crackers. With a blend of whole grain brown rice, corn, oat fiber and a 4-seed blend, the crackers are oven baked and have 65% less fat than fried multi-grain tortilla chips. Like other gluten-free crackers, they are a tad dry, but we used them with some Thanksgiving dip, and they were perfect! We'd definitely buy them again!
Among Friends Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix- Much beloved chocolate chip cookie reminiscent of the “classic” with crispy edges and a soft middle, but free of gluten, and full of flavor. I actually combined these with a bit of the Better Body Foods - PBfit Peanut Butter Powder. And WHOA. We had a winner! Seriously, EVERYONE who ate a bite, wanted a whole cookie, and declared them the best EVER. NO ONE realized they were gluten free! Among Friends has 11 other products, and we can't wait to try them too! So it's a GOOD thing they're available at Target and Whole Foods, among others! And head on over to the better Body Foods website, and you can get a FREE 4-week meal plan, that utilizes this super peanut butter, that’s only one-third the calories and 90% less fat of regular peanut butter. That means guilt-free smoothies, PBJs, peanut butter dips, oatmeal, pancakes, anything you can think of really! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
And speaking of LOVE, the chocolate products were all on the LOVE scale!
I had to hide the Gertrude Hawk Milk Chocolate Crispy Bar from the kid! She took one bite and declared it SO much better than the Halloween candy she was snacking on still! The creamy milk chocolate is a premier blend, so smooth and yummy, and mixed perfectly with the rice. You just need one piece of the bar to feed any chocolate craving!
And when you're craving the taste of chocolate, but don't want the calories, then Wild Foods Wild Chocolate Powder is JUST what you need!Non-GMO, Fair Trade, Certified Organic, Vegan and Paleo. We both passed on trying the Mediterra Kale & Pumpkin Seeds Bar, as neither of us really can stand the taste of Kale, or Pumpkin seeds. So a friend tried it and he was surprised that he could see the kale, but what he really tasted was the cashew butter. He also advsied it gave him an energy boost, he wasn't expecting! Which makes sense thanks to amount of protein in each gluten-free, non-gmo bar! reading it's ingredient list is like checking out an organic pantry- it's ALL good for you!
Älsa - Energy Drink Mix- The healthy energy drink mix, Älsa is smarter, steady energy with Cognizin citicoline for mental clarity and PURENERGY for a long-lasting boost. It comes in three vegan and gluten-free flavors: Dragon Fruit, Pomegranate Blueberry, and Three Citrus. I'd like to say it was yummy, but both Miss Grace and I had the same reaction to it. It may have given us energy, but the taste? UGH. Note sure if it was the Yerba Mate or the citicoline, but neither of us could handle more than a sip or two, when added to water. When I added it to a smoothies, we got about half drank, before giving up on the taste. But if you can handle that, it does give long lasting energy.
So there was mostly some yummy sounding food stuff right?
But there was also yummy stuff for your skin!
Earth Science - 145 Night Renewal Facial Lotion- As you age, dead, dull, older-looking skin cells build up, and new skin regenerates more slowly. Night Renewal contains fruit acids to help slough off old tired-looking skin and stimulate skin renewal. It is also rich in hyaluronic acid, green tea, algae, and ginseng root extracts to hydrate skin and minimize the visible signs of age. Use it for just 3 nights to start seeing results! Contains all-natural cedar mint fragrance. This was a heavenly lotion and I actually used it on my hands, face and neck and DID start seeing results, with firmer skin! And it's a lot cheaper than the product I had been using!

Natures rich emollients shea butter, jojoba and kukui nut oil combined with aloe vera smooth and replenish to keep your skin youthful looking and vibrant. This special, botanical, fragrance-free formula with arnica and calendula can be used right out of the bottle or customized by adding your favorite essential oil, such as lavender, sandalwood, rose, or geranium. I added some drops of lavender and geranium, and Miss Grace declared it hers! LOL, Never fails! It is super silky and smooth, and really relieves tired skin!
Goddess Garden - Sunscreen & Firming Primer- featuring a sheer and lightweight formula to protect your skin from the cumulative effects of sun exposure, it's also 30 SPF! Plant-based ingredients like buddleja and vitamin B3 lessen the look of sun damage, while chicory root provides an immediate firming effect, making Face the Day ideal worn alone or as a makeup primer. I have to admit it is AMAZING as a primer, keeping your makeup, especially eye makeup, in PLACE all day, no matter the humidity! My only issue was the smell, a little too chicory to put on my face (I'm Southern, I just want to smell chicory in my coffee, LOL). So I cheated and added a touch of lavendar to it was well, to tone the smell. It worked, and I was able use it with no problem It's going to be my new primer for sure!
So there you have it! I'd say a 80% success rate for the box, which is pretty amazing for any type of Goodie box! The Goodie box idea is definitely growing on me, and I love finding out about these great new products and companies!
