This adorable book is perfect for all those lovely snuggly moments, when our little ones want to know how much we love them! Caroline wanted to share an adorable bedtime poem, that she used to recite to her own now grown kids before bedtime., and the results is this adoable book!! Small children will easily relate as the little boy learns all about the different types of animal hugs he has to offer to his mother, before he goes to bed. It's a fun way to wind yor kids down for bed, while offering some great opportunities ofr fun animal learning. The illustrations are perfect to the story, as you can see, making this book a tale to hand down from generation to generatuon, as Caroline has done with her kids, and now yours! It's a lovely book for giving, and keeping!
About the Authoir:
Caroline B. Cooney was born in New York, grew up in Connecticut, and now lives in South Carolina. Caroline is the author of 90 Young Adult novels in many genres, and her books have sold over fifteen million copies. I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug is her first picture book. It’s based on a verse she wrote for her own children, Louisa, Sayre and Harold, who are grown now.
About the Illustrator:
Award winning children's author / illustrator Tim Warnes' first book was published in 1995; since then he's worked on more than 65 books, which have been translated into 18 different languages (9 of these he wrote). He also has an online comic strip, Chalk & Cheese, published every Monday & Friday. Tim's married to fellow illustrator Jane Chapman. They have 2 boys, and work from home in the countryside in South West England.
