WOW this is an amazing holiday cookbook! If you want to totally redo your holiday table and traditions, THIS book can help you! It is SO delectable! Every color picture astounds your senses, and makes you want to run to the kitchen and start cooking! And then the recipes! Little tweaks that you may not have though of, really bring the recipes to life, and many are SO easy, you won't believe how much time you can actually save on Christmas day! Plus the food gifts and crafts are perfect compliments to the recipes! they are pretty simple, but totally charming, and perfect for putting together with your kids. My only grip was that the cover picture of a jam sponge Bunche de Noel, is NOT included in the book. ARGH. There is the traditional chocolate/chocolate one however. I'm sure it was a last minute editing error, as I've never had that happen with a cookbook from Parragon. It's minor though. This is a perfect holiday cookbook, and perfect for giving, especially as hostess and white elephant gifts.
Here's a great recipe from the book that is not only perfect for Christmas morning, it's perfect for holiday parties and weekend brunch!
