The Venice Experiment COVERMy secret plan to move to Venice was ready. It was time to see if my wife would buy into the idea of leaving our home to live for an entire year in a foreign country.

And thus the journey begins - Barry and Debbie Frangipane, a middle-class couple tired of the rat race leaves it all for the lure of Venice. But can they make it in a foreign land? Read about the hilarious twists and turns their lives take during their year in the city of water, as they show us a Venice we never knew existed. The Venice Experiment is about fulfilling dreams on a journey that any of us could make - but would we?

Review: This is a very charming book, that answers the question "What if?"

Certainly when living in the South and you're being pelted with yet another hurricane, the idea of picking up and moving to Italy is definitely romantic and thought provoking! That Barry and his wife used their year in Venice to totally change their lives is very impressive indeed! They took the adage of 'find your bliss', and DID. How many of us can say that?

The book is charming in showing the differences between American and Italian life, and how it CAN be done, when you put your mind to immersing yourself in your new land, and enjoy all that it has to offer. It definitely will have you thinking "What if?"! Perfect for the world traveler, and the traveler want to be, put this one your list to learn about Venice!

About the Authors
Barry Frangipane has read many Pulitzer Prize winning novels, The Venice Experiment is his first attempt at writing one.The son of middle-class Italian immigrants, Barry has lived in Venice, Italy, Paris, France, and Boulder, Colorado. As creator of Savory Adventures, he hosted luxury vacations to Italy with his wife, Chef Dolce Debbie. His entertaining stories of Italy gave their guests the inside scoop on the local life and traditions. Barry has two children, Stephanie and Amber, and currently lives in Tampa, Florida.

Ben Robbins, a Florida native, has slightly better than average punctuation skills. A writer most of his career, he is now a published author. He knows this because his name is now on the cover of a book. When not writing books, he enjoys travelling with his family, exploring the outdoors and working two jobs to pay the bills. He takes great pride in being extraordinarily humble, but of course would not want you to know that.
