PIP/ CLOSED/ Celtic Woman Songs From the Heart CD Review/ DVD Giveaway!

I have recently become a Team Mom/Music Mom Reviewer for Child's Play Communications and I couldn't be happier with the first selection they sent me to review!

You may have recently seen the Celtic Woman Songs from the Heart Special on PBS- we had a 3 generational-girls viewing of it the other night and my daughter was enchanted, while my mother and I continued out love of the group and their music! 

Celtic Woman are an all-female vocal ensemble performing various traditional and contemporary Celtic-based songs. Often compared to such artists as Clannad, Enya, and Loreena McKennitt, Celtic Woman also put on a live stage show that shares much in common with similarly minded shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. A live performance by Celtic Woman was filmed for broadcast on PBS in 2004 and debuted a year later with an accompanying CD and DVD. And has again about yearly since then! As well as the group recordings, each member of Celtic Woman has released her own solo album. They have sold more than 3.8 million records in the US alone together, and have 7 SOLD OUT US tours! Their current tour kicked off at Radio City Music Hall!

The 5 member band consists of Mairead (solo violinist), Lisa, Chloe- the youngest member,

Lynn  and Alex

13. Galway Bay- the beginning lyrics could echo those of Native Americans centuries ago!

14. The Lost Rose Fantasia

15. O, America!- I LOVE this song- so lovely! I loved all the Celtic songs on the cd- they are ALL so uplifting and relaxing, there just aren't words to express how great the ENTIRE album is!! I really can't say which song is my favorite!

I love the ENTIRE cd! This is definitely one of those cds to leave in the car and to listen to all the time!
