Sometimes you get sent book review request from new sources and you're not sure how they're gonna be.
I was very pleasantly surprised to receive this book, The Pro Child Way, from Untapped Talent Publishing Company (aka UT squared!)! For a small press, they're already got a great book on their hands! This gem of a book should be handed out by ALL divorce judges to the divorcing parents when there are kids involved and they should have to go thru a course based on it as well. I am 100% serious! i see enough of the divorced parents fueding in my line of work and there have been too many times to count when I've had to ask a parent, are you thinking of your CHILD'S needs or YOURS?
Synopsis: Join others who are seeking this new mindful path of divorced parenting. By using The Pro Child Way, parents will stop reacting to their ex in The Old Way and instead choose to raise their child The Pro Child Way. By learning to recognize, and then quiet their own ego, parents can save their child from the effects of the typical divorce and nurture their child’s spirit through the process.
What does a child need? A child needs love, patience, kindness, consistency, and consideration. These are not reserved just for children who are a part of in-tact families. These are not reserved for children who’s parents are going through a “friendly divorce.” Every child’s soul deserves this too. Through your mindful approach, you can choose the Pro-Child path for your child.
When your child is present, EVERY interaction with your ex is a chance to either crush her spirit or nuture it. It’s your choice. Your ex can’t force a smile off of your face. Your ex can’t force you to use irrate language and tone. Your ex can’t force you to engage in an unreasonable exchange.
All it takes is learning to step back and looking at your child. By looking at your child, you’ll quickly be reminded of his or her tender soul that craves to be surrounded by love, not conflict. Not reacting is a learned, mindful practice, but your child is worth it. Your child’s future greatly depends on how you choose to raise her through each moment.

If you KNOW of someone getting a divorced get them this book as well!
Truly, I think alot of the subjects covered need to be discussed during pre-marriage counseling, just to set the concept in parents brains! Now run out and get this book for yourself or your friends, you will NOT regret it!
Disclosure: I received this product from UnTapped Talent Publishing, free of charge, for me to review. I was NOT told how to review the book however.
