EW: Product Review/ Giveaway/CLOSED: Marcal Small Steps Paper Products

AND They've been in business for 60 years- they know their stuff!

We had tried the paper towels before when we received a free coupon in the mail and were pleasantly surprised! When we have "recycled" products at work, they're always harsh and smell odd. Not the Marcal towels! They not only absorb as well as our favorite paper towels, but are soft to the touch and no yucky bleach smell! EARTH FACT: With over 90% of US households taking advantage of the convenience of paper towels we produce over 3,000 tons of waste each day.

So you can imagine HOW excited I was when the UPS delivered a LARGE box from Marcal this past week! Not only were their paper towels, but paper napkins, facial tissues (isn't it ODD how we always want to use the K brand name, even if we are talking about P**** or some other brand of facial tissue? THATS superb brand recognition at its best! Anyhoo...), and not 1 but TWO types of toilet paper (single and double rolls)! JUST as pictured above. We were tickled pink!

I have to say that everything lived up to the same experience we had with their paper towels! The napkins are excellent, and you know with a 3 yr old around, you're gonna go thru ALOT of cloth napkins, so with the Marcal napkins I could at least assuage some guilt for using paper napkins instead! EARTH FACT: The average person uses six paper napkins daily.

The facial tissues may not be fancy with lotions or cold medicine on them, but they work JUST as well as the name brands and NO irritation to be had. EARTH FACT: The average human sneezes about 952-1196 times in one year ( i think I did the low number in the week I had that cold that turned into bronchitis! LOL)

We've gotten a good run out of the toilet paper due to a 5 day stomach bug striking the household (yup-eeewwwww). AND while our normal brand (C**********) may be softer and maybe a little stronger, it's not like you NEED it to lift your body weight, ya know? The Marcal rolls were more than adequate and the double roll last just as long as our normal brand! EARTH FACT: On average, consumers use 8.6 sheets per trip – a total of 57 sheets per day. That’s an annual total of 20,805 sheets! WHEW that's alot of paper and trees!

I can't recommend Marcal enough! When you need to have "paper" products, these should be your chase- save a tree and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
