Synopsis: Oh, no--where did Little
Critter’s pet frog go? He’s escaped by the lake while Critter and Dad
are on a fishing trip. Could froggie be in the log, up a tree, under a
rock, or inside the cave?
Kids will
have fun lifting the flaps and joining the mad search!
Author Info: Mercer Mayer has been writing and illustrating children's books for over
35 years. His wife, Gina, has been co-writing the Little Critter series since the early 1990s.
The books in the Little Critter series address the major issues of growing up through
humorous storytelling.
Review: My daughter LOVED this book. She was really confused as to why you would have a frog for a pet (why isn't he be with his mommy and daddy?") when Critter had a dog, but she loved the rhyming story and looking under the flaps for froggie. She adored being able to count froggies 'family' members! I was too old when this series came out, but as enchanted as my daughter was, I'm sure we'll be buying more books from the series that Sterling is re-releasing!
