As I told you a few days ago, it was finally time to get new eyeglasses and courtesy of GlassesUSA I was given the opportunity to provide them with my prescription and select a pair of frames from their vast inventory. Eyeglasses are expensive. The last pair that I bought at my optometrist's office cost me several hundreds of dollars, so I was quite willing to give GlassesUSA a try!
It only took GlassesUSA about 2 weeks to get my prescription glasses to me. Which was actually the SAME as it would have been in my optometrist's office, except I only had to go to the mailbox to get them, versus having to drive there-saving me a whole lot of time! The frames picked out were normally UNDER $45 dollars and with GlassesUSA FREE hard case and FREE lens cloth, they were at least 2/3 cheaper than I would have paid in the optometrist's office! WOW! Something else that I really liked about GlassesUSA was their policy of giving back: All of their returned eyeglasses are not restocked, as they are with most optical stores. Their glasses are “recycled”! What does that mean? They believe that everyone should have access to vision care. So, they donate all of their returned eyeglasses to various organizations around the US, who then sanitize and redistribute the eyeglasses with the correct prescriptions, to people all over the world, who can’t afford vision care! They believe that seeing properly shouldn’t be a luxury – it should be a necessity.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the glasses that I received! I was some what hesitant re ordering glasses online, but it was an easy process and I felt like I had total control! The only thing was you might want to go try on eyeglasses somewhere to get an idea what looks good on your face before searching their inventories. GlassesUSA has a great 'try it on' Virtual Mirror feature where you can upload your picture, use your webcam, or use one of their preset pictures to see how most of the glasses would look on you! I used it and it was right on!
I LOVE my new glasses! Course the new prescription is 75% of the love! There is less stress on my eyes and I love that! The frames are a great blue and look great on my face- the virtual mirror was right! The hardcase is very nice and the frames themselves are just as sturdy as my previous pair! I will definitely keep GlassesUSA in mind for my next pair and will highly recommend them to all my family and friends!

(I hate taking pix of me, can ya tell???? Plus I realized i was in DESPERATE need of a hair cut ASAP,
