Author Info: Elin Hilderbrand lives on Nantucket with her husband and their three young children. She grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and traveled extensively before settling on Nantucket, which has been the setting for her five previous novels. Hilderbrand is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa.

 Review:  This is a great summer beach/pool read! I kept wishing I was on Nantucket and far far away from the gulf's humidity! the book is a great character study of the interaction of a group of adults and how small changes make ripples and affect them all. Anyone who has been part of a tight group of adult friends will recognize the closeness and long-hidden feelings that can boil over seemingly without notice. Hilderbrand is a master at the summer read- her books are full of drama, adult issues, the call of Nantucket and the beach- and this book is a perfect example!
