Product Review/ Giveaway: Paradiso Designs Tiny Bag Pattern

One of the lovely things we received at the WeBlog Conference was a set of sewing patterns from Paradiso Designs- Perfect Pillows, Lolita Skirt and Tiny Bag Handbag! (please note links to Amazon given, as Paradiso Designs website is under construction and unavailable at this time)

Cheryl Kuczek is the designer and she has some great bags and womens wear patterns! her designs are available at local fabric stores as well as thru Amazon. Most run about $10, which is a great price for patterns nowadays!

The Tiny Bag is made to contain a wallet,cell phone and keys comfortably, but stay small. The body of the purse will measure about 9 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches! Perfect for Junior High and High Schoolers who are struggling with backpacks, and college students who don't want to carry more than a notebook, textbook and small purse! The purse can be made with under a yard and a half of fabric, in the same fabric or multiple fabrics for an unique look. The ability to customize this pattern is also wonderful!

Cheryl's pattern for this bag comes with detailed instructions (I love that their are diagrams for all the steps- perfect for beginner sewers!). This pattern also comes with a pattern sheet to cut out and use, of actual pattern pieces.her Lolita Skirt is easy peasy and i am going to use the basics of construction for skirts for my daughter!

This pattern looks like it could be made from start to finish in about an hour! Perfect for teens who want to change purses with their new likes and loves (you could even get say a Twilight t-shirt and use it for the fabric for the purse for example!), as it is so easily customized! It would also be a great pattern to use to make Christmas gifts with! So ready to give it a try? Now you can win this pattern for yourself and your kids to make!
