Book Review and Giveaway: And One Last Thing by Molly Harper

Lacey has to make a decision about her long-term living arrangements, though. Should she take a job writing caustic divorce newsletters for paying clients, or move on with her own life, pursuing more literary aspirations? Can she find happiness with a man who tells her what he thinks and not what she wants to hear? And will she ever be able to resist saying one . . . last . . . thing?

About the Author: Molly Harper worked for six years as a reporter and humor columnist for The Paducah Sun. Her reporting duties included covering courts, school board meetings, quilt shows, and once, the arrest of a Florida man who faked his suicide by shark attack and spent the next few months tossing pies at a local pizzeria. Molly lives in western Kentucky with her family.

Review:  I like to think of Chick Lit as modern Harlequin novels, if you know what I mean. less bodice ripping, and more witty repetoire. This book definitely has that and is a classic Chick Lit light summer read! Anybody that has grown up in a small town will be able to relate to Lacey becoming the 'pariah' and butt of jokes. Anybody who has been scorned in a relationship will more than understand why she felt the need for revenge that led to said pariahship! This is a quick and fun read and one that is perfect for an afternoon read once the kids are out in the pool, or back at school!
