Product Review and Giveaway: Country Time Lemonade

Enjoy the great taste of summertime with Country Time Lemonade. Introduced in 1975, it was a staple in our house when I was growing up! Mom thought it was a much better alternative to sodas and it was always  - not too tart and not too sweet.

I haven't bought Country Time in years, so when a chance came up to review it I was happy to see if it still tasted like it did years ago!  We were sent the regular Country Time 8qt size container. I am happy to report that the taste has NOT changed- it is still a great alternative to soda and tastes great- even out 3 yr old decided she liked it on first taste and asks for lemon drink! Course I think she is fascinated with the fact that we can make a glass with just a tablespoon- it's like magic to her!

As a Mom, I was happy to see that Country Time has 40% less sugar than the leading regular sodas and only 11 mg caffeine per serving. (80% less than brewed coffee. Brewed coffee contains 65-120 mg of caffeine per serving.). I also like how I can control how much goes into her glass. We tend to use 3/4 of what is called for, so it cuts down on the sweet (and caffeine). I've also found that she doesn't get as hyper when she has the Country Time, versus having a box juice!

Being able to make as much as you need is wonderful, and I love that there is no extra ingredients, just pour the amount you need into the lid (on 8 and 12 qt sizes) and pour into your water, mix and go! Did you know that the prepared lemonade will keep for up to 4 days in the refrigerator?  I don't think ours ever lasts half that long!


Country Time now has 7 flavors:

• regular lemonade
• pink lemonade- made with pink grapefruit
• raspberry lemonade
• strawberry flavored lemonade
• lemonade ice tea
• lite lemonade in regular or pink flavors- 1.2 the sugar and only 35 calories per serving!

Plus you can get it in large 34 qt container or convenient 10 packet box, to take with you wherever you go!
