Product Review and Giveaway: Exederm Hypoallergenic Skincare Line for Kids

Do your kids have sensitive skin? Do they have eczema or dermatitis?

Now there is a solution: Exederm! It’s a hypoallergenic skincare line for kids with no fragrance, parabens, colors, dyes, SLS, etc., that can cause break outs! There are NO harsh chemicals, unnecessary additives and unproven herbal ingredients that may irritate and cause a rash on sensitive skin or trigger an eczema flare-up on your child's skin

We were recently sent some of their wonderful products to review. Kiddo doesn't have eczema, but she does have pretty sensitive skin, and we've tried to keep her bubble baths, shampoos and soaps as sensitive free as we can. The bad thing with 'sensitive' products is that they frequently don't clean as well, or smell as great. Thus, you have a preschooler who doesn't want to use them.

So we were quite pleased with her reaction to the Exederm products!

Their cleansing baby bath does great double duty as bubble bath. All of you with girls are well aware about how cheap bubble baths can cause irritation for little girls. Kiddo was impressed with the amount of bubbles (pretty impressive for not having any SLS!), while we were happy with no irritation, soft skin and a great smell. And yes, it cleaned pretty well too!

I also liked how well their baby ezcema shampoo cleaned Kiddo's hair! It left it super squeaky clean, with absolutely NO irritation to her scalp! As she gets pretty sweaty in out high heat and high humidity,we have to wash her hair EVERY day. So if we have a shampoo that is sensitive and cleans, without killing her hair, I'm ecstatic!

The baby eczema lotion is super moisturizing and really does it's job well! It smooths dry delicate skin, especially that which is red, cracked or itchy skin. Have a little sunburn? This lotion REALLY helps soothe and heal it very quickly! And it is lightweight and non- greasy. A super plus when applying on babies with sensitive skin!

I found this great info about the Itch Cycle on the Exederm website and wanted to share with you:
"After bathing and showering skin becomes dry, tight and sore causing itchy skin to flake The skin has a layer of natural oil, which helps retain moisture in the skin, but use of soaps, detergents and shower gels strip the skin of this essential layer.
Body washes, shower gels and bubble baths may also contain colorings, lanolin, soap and fragrances which may irritate you skin causing it to break out in a rash. Avoid irritants such as parabens, and read your labels to see which products may cause breakouts.

Water itself can be drying to the skin and when the skin is warm it becomes more absorbent, therefore it is essential to moisturize immediately after washing with a moisturizer such as exederm intensive moisture cream. " Yes, your Mom WAS right about applying lotion right after you bathe!

They also have baby moisturizing cream, hair conditioner and body oil.

While the price may seem high, if you have kids with skin problems, you know that having skin care and beauty products that keep rashes at bay or from occurring at all, is well worth the cost! And if you order online, they have 2 specials:
