Product Review: Maty’s All Natural Cough Syrup

Fall in Louisiana means ONE thing: you're gonna be sick!

We have 3 days of 80 degree weather with 78% humidity, then have 24 hours of 60 degree weather with no humidity, dropping down to high 30s at night, then back to days of humidity and heat.

Which means if you are prone to change of weather nasal issues, you're gonna be SICK!

Kiddo recently went through this and is still fighting off a nasty ear infection. We have been able to keep her coughing down to almost none, without resorting to prescription meds, by using Maty's All Natural Cough Syrup! We were sent it to review at just the right time, as it got put into use pretty quickly!

The syrup is doctor recommended as It includes real antioxidant rich buckwheat honey and nine of Mother Nature’s most powerful immune and support ingredients, making it gluten-free as well. These include apple cider vinegar, sea salt, lemon peel, cinnamon, grapefruit seed, lemon balm, and cayenne pepper! Unlike traditional over-the-counter cold medicines and homeopathic remedies, this product is food based; there are no harmful side effects, you can even use them on infants (three months)! You can have peace of mind as your little one enjoys a peaceful night’s sleep!
Maty’s kids All Natural Cough Syrup
The syrup comes in 2 flavor choices- regular (aimed at adults) and caramel banana (kids formula). Kiddo is an anomaly- she prefers regular tasting medicine, or cherry only, versus flavors like grape and bubblegum. She actually prefers the regular flavor! The syrup is a MUCH thicker syrup than others we have used and I have to admit it works REALLY well.

One dose at bedtime, and Kiddo did NOT cough all night. The thicker formula really coats the throat and keeps irritation down, keeping coughs at bay, and allowing your child to sleep! Honey really does the job. In case you didn't know, honey is a:

·         Natural energy booster: Natural sugars prevent fatigue and provide immediate energy boost
·         Immune System Builder: Antioxidants help improve digestive system and fights disease
·         Anti-Cancer: Honey contains carcinogen-preventing and anti-tumor properties.
·         Cuts and burns: Antibacterial properties prevent infection; reduces swelling and scarring
·         Hangovers: Natural sugars speed up the oxidation of alcohol in the liver
·         Sore Throats: Antimicrobial properties sooth the throat and kill bacteria

The cough syrups are now available at popular pharmacies like: Rite Aid, Stop & Shop and even your local grocery store, like Kroger’s!

We will definitely keep Maty's in our medicine cabinet during cold and flu season, and you should too!
