Kiddo gets super excited when she she's a new book from I See Me Books on the doorstep!
She knows it will be a book, she is going to LOVE, because SHE is in it!
So we were thrilled when we were asked to review the newest edition to their lineup, Royal Birthday Adventure:
In this new enchanting personalized picture book, your child is flown away to a magical kingdom to celebrate his or her birthday (boys' book features a dragon, girls' the unicorn) in a royal way! The story is highly personalized throughout the text and illustrations, including the parchment invitation, 10-tier birthday cake, night sky fireworks and more.
As you can see, the illustrations are beyond gorgeous! Kiddo was instantly entranced (course it may have had to do with Mike the Knight and Tangled being two of her favorite shows right now), and enchanted kingdoms being pretty cool to her! But she also loved seeing her name on EVERY turn of the page! The story was for an older child versus the previous I See Me books we have reviewed, so she felt more that it was JUST for her.
She's also pretty in love with ANYTHING horse related, so the unicorn leading her to her 'special' party was pretty much the icing on the cake! We both loved the story and she keeps looking at the book in wonder at the illustrations, and at finding her name. She also starting finding her sight words, so I know this will be a book that will grow with her, and help her with her early reading! Making it super special to her, and Mom!
