Book Review: The Klampie Mystery by Luis Rodriguez

And now a great kids book to prevent Summer brain drain,
and get those imaginations afire!

Synopsis: Samantha and her parents go on an adventure ‘down under’ to Australia. Samantha gets a stuffed koala and names it "Klampie" since his arms clamp onto anything, like a real koala. Follow Samantha as she is amazed by the differences between the two countries. And then something unexpected happens on the plane ride home - the koala on Samantha's backpack turns out to be a real… a real mystery!

Review: Well ya'll KNOW Kiddo loves Australia, as it is the home of her beloved Wiggles! So anytime we have a book on Australia, she is quite happy!

I loved that this book will grow with Kiddo. Right now she can recognize sight words, but this book is aimed at kids more 1st-2nd grade level, so she needs it read to her. But we did alot of interjection with questions and comments about different Australian animals, zoos, deforesting and flying on a plane! So it was great that it stretched her imagination and kept her entranced!

We loved the story and she loved how things turned out at the end for Samantha and Klampie! If your child loves adventure, wild animals and a great story, they'll love this tale! There are alot of educational games and crafts you could do to really make the story come alive and get your kids' brains into gear too!
